How to Cut Like a Pro
- Stand the cutter on a bench. Fit a 60 mm disc with the chuck key. Plug the UK adapter into the head, then into the mains. Fit the water tube. Wear your own eye protection.
- Loosen the column lever, set the height to the cut line, and lock it. Put the bottle on the rotating rest.
- Choose a lower speed on thinner glass, and a higher speed on thick ceramic.
- Switch the motor on, keep the water on the cut, and turn the bottle steadily against the disc.
- Swap to the grinding rod to dress the edge, or the hole saw to drill. Sandpaper is not in the box.

Very effective machine and a huge upgrade from scoring tools. My only minor gripe is that it can be a bit noisy on the highest 6000 RPM setting, but it cuts through ceramic effortlessly.
